The staff treated me with compassion and respect while I was in treatment in the North Sound. The peer counselors then worked with me to find housing and secured a room for me in Pioneer housing.
I am grateful to now have a safe place to live that is preparing me for independent living. I really appreciate the kindness and support services I have received here.”

When I arrived at the residential reentry center, after being locked up for eight and a half years in the Federal Bureau of Prisons system, I was not sure what to do. Pioneer staff have been helping me to reintegrate into society.
They started with the basics like helping me get my state identification card and social security card; and then we worked on signing-up for medical assistance, and finding housing and employment. Overall, staff members here have really worked to get me back to being a productive member of society.”
